Chatting & Playing: The Twins are playing together constantly now. They both say things like "DaDaDaDa", "YaYaYaYa", "MaMaMaMaMa", "TheTheTheThe", "DeeDeeDee". TJ screams tiny, short little screams. Kayla gives "kisses" by leaning in with an open mouth, or by making "kissy" noises. They LOVE the cats...and nothing is more exciting than a nearby kitty-cat.
Food: both Kayla & TJ are completely on "people food" now. They eat eggs, cheese, bread, toast, french toast, chicken, meatballs, pasta, diced fruits, small veggies, salmon...and whatever else Mommy makes for them. Just this weekend at a BBQ they ate macaroni salad, potato salad, peas, baked beans, and pulled pork! TJ is a GREAT eater...he will eat just about anything you put in front of him. Kayla is a little pickier, and doesn't quite have as big an appetite as TJ does. Neither of the Twins are feeding themselves yet. They try...meaning they pick the food up, look at it, move it toward their mouths, and then let it drop in their laps.
All in all...things are great. Kayla is crawling completely now, and TJ can crawl too! He prefers to "army crawl" still, because it is much faster for him, but he can do it correctly too. He is working hard on sitting up still, and he is getting better at it every day. His Physical Therapist says that his upper body is getting stronger and stronger, and he will be sitting up in no time.
