So it's my pleasure to introduce to you (in order of arrival):
Kayla Jessica @ 3lbs 15oz 17" (3:54pm EDT)

Tyler Jason @ 2lbs 5oz 15" (3:55pm EDT)

They're both pretty small and look scary with all the sensors and tubes, but both Kayla & Tyler are doing perfectly well so far. They are both breathing on their own (his tube helps get a little MORE air into his lungs with every breath he takes), have good blood pressures and are maintaining good temperatures. Because they were premature they are both going to spend some time in the NICU. Due to his "smaller stature", she will likely come home first in a few weeks while he stays behind to continue developing and growing. The nurses said that they're both functioning like babies born at 34 weeks (about a week and a half further along than they came) so that's great news.
Mom is recuperating in the Labor & Delivery ward getting some much needed rest.
Stay Tuned! This is only the beginning...
