Eager to Come Home...

So...now that Kayla is home, TJ is definitely proving to the world that he is eager to join his sister. At his last weigh-in last night, he was 3 lbs 8 oz...our big boy is now more than a pound more than he was at birth! He is wearing big-boy clothes now, as he can regulate his own temperature too. He eats almost every feeding by bottle, although we still follow the rule that says that if he falls asleep the rest of his breastmilk goes in the tube. #1 goal is still the weight gain! First, check out the comparison pictures of TJ.
The first is from 8-29-08...

and this one was taken on 9-20-08, just 3 weeks later-

Such a difference right? He is definitely beefing up...starting to look so big. According to his nurse...he thinks he is SUCH a big boy! Always looking around, always pulling his tubes out, anxiously eating from his bottle, and always trying to pick his head up!

Here are some pictures from his most recent photo shoot:

So those are our most recent selections from the TJ photo album. He is doing great in the NICU, and has even been downgraded from the ICN to the SCN (special care nursery, instead of the intensive care nursery). Hopefully he'll be home in no time!

WOW. It's crazy how big he is getting - I love the side by side "then and now" pics. He is looking SO much like Kayla these days! I can't wait for my Godson to come home, and I can spoil him just as much as Kayla!

Yes, He's growing fast. What a handsome little guy. Wish I could hug them in person, but for now you'll have to do it for me. God Bless. Love-Aunt Paul
